The Rules~ Any questions, feel free to ask:
1: No fussing and no racial posts. If you want to fuss then PM each other. we really don't want to see someone fuss. If Me or my staff sees it then both person's or if more people are involved will be banned permenatly.
2: Please be atleast appropiate, i understand this is BtVS and there will be fighting, but keep it in the roleplay, do not offend an actual person
3: No one-liners. No one word or one sentence replies unless you put alot in the sentence or you explain what your characters feeling and then use the one-liners. we can't play off of a scene with hardly anything to work with. we can't reply and can't have a decent conversation between characters if you do that. If u are caught using a one liner without a good cause then you will be warned in your post of the usage and if it happens again u will be banned for 2 days. and admins are not immune to this. what ever action will be needed to take we will take it.
4: You must be a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel.
5: Yo can only have up to 4 Characters
6: You can only have 3 banners, and they can't be huge banners. the normal size. if you have a question about the size PM one of the admins and send it to us and let us look at it and we will tell u if it is ok.
7: If you're using an BuffyVerse Character(from the show), make sure you RP (Role Play) appropriately. For example, Xander wouldn't turn evil and take over sunnydale unless he's under a spell which is ok unless he's not part of the bigbads plot., try and write your dialogue to sound as much like the Character your playing. Google quotes and watch some epi's. they will help u!
8: If you take a character then you must post at least 2 or 3 times a week or tell us when u will be able to get on! If someone wants the character and u haven't been on for a while we can't keep it reserved for you. so please post regularly or tell us what days you can get on. Thanks. If you fail to do so then you will loose your character. Just tell us in the leaving board when u are able to get on or if you are going on vacation or something like that! Thanks!
9: Please no chatspeak. No 'c u l8er' or anything of that sort.
10: No Killing another character or a sucide. No dying unless giving permission by the staff. If we see it and we have not emailed u about that then u will be banned for a week maybe 2 weeks.
11: No talking for another character!! We assign characters for a reason and that's so that person can be they're character and not someone speaking for them. If we see that it is resolved in banning and the second offense is deletion.
12: No "God modding": never doing the impossible or unrealistic. No taking over another characters actions like death or anything like that unless given permission by staff or the other person. Which means you can't kill them or beat them up unless you ask and plan the scene out and PM an admin about it and let us know about the scene and what's going to happen. and if you want to die then you will have to get the ok from the staff.
13: If you have to speak in the RP sections, use ((,enter text here.)) or use the format OOC: Your Text Here BIC the OCC means (Out Of Character) BIC: (Back In Character)
14: OOC (Out-of-character) flaming(Cruelty or insults) to other members will not be tolerated.
15: Before using your RP character, be sure to post a thread in the sign up section. You may not begin to RP until it is approved and moved to the appropriate board. Use the bio form to make the thread.
16: If you are wanting to have an heart to heart talk or need to get a scene that is important to figureing out something about a big bad or something along those lines then you need to put up a disclaimer in the post saying I've PMed the person I want to join the post. and actually PM them and let them know. not everyone's a good mind reader. If you want to get a scene that you think is important to the developement of the board and everyone keeps coming in and interuppting then I will lock a thread and you and your party or parties will get temorary lock post powers to that thread. so u can post in the thread when locked. Just PM the staff about it and we will set it up for you. We know with alot of people RPing it's hard to know when to come in and sometimes you may come in on an important scene and not know it. just go with the flow if you get interupped and PM a staff member and you can start another thread with the similar vibe and get to do the scene you want to act out.
17: NO SPAMMING!! If you want to advertise your sites and things like that then I don't mind. But if you advertise your site and just disappear then it will be removed and deleted from our archives and threads. We do have affiliates and we will be happy to link your button if u link our site as well. If we still have your button up and you no longer have ours up I will delete the button from our board. It's not fair to get free hostage from here and we aren't getting any in return.
18: Make sure that you keep up with what's happening. Buffy can get confusing unless you know what's been going on with the site. if you join and are clueless then please PM me or Jenny(Buffy) and we will brief you on what's been happening. we will also send out memo's and bio of the new big bad in Town and it's powers and weaknesses. we will also PM you when the bad has been killed and how it was killed.
19:THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE
IF YOU WANT TO USE THE BANNERS OR PICTURES THAT ANYONE ELSE HAS POSTED ON THIS BOARD THEN YOU MUST ASK AND I WILL ASK THE PERSON WHO MADE THEM IF YOU CAN USE THEM. U MUST CREDIT THE PERSON AND THIS SITE IN THE USE OF THEM! EVERY ONE GETS CREDIT FOR THE'RE WORK!
2o. Staff members can have up to 7 chracters.
